surprise me Hey all, Anyways, school has resumed in full swing. And if you don't already know, i'm into my 2nd and final year student in Biz Admin. Yippee! I am definitely excited cos this could only mean one thing. That i'm one step too close to graduating, cannot wait. This term's module seems fun. Event Organization and Publicity Principles Of Marketing Tourism and Products. Anyways, turns out my current gpa is 3.0 and my cummulative gpa is 2.67. Not the other way round. I mean, th 3 pointer wasn't even in the picture. I'm definitely pleased of the outcome of my results. Hmm, cos my first term's gpa was 2.25ish. Burning midnight oil for 3 nights, countless pages of notes, pointless scribbles, cups and cups of nescafe coffee. A 0.75 boost is definitely not too shabby. Alhamdulillah. *pats back* And for once, Mom was actually listening. She even gave a pleased expression and let slip a satisfied smile. To me. I'm glad i've somehow gave Mom a reason to be proud of me. But I can't be too excited cos this might just be a shortlived happiness. Just for a fleeting moment. See, that's how pathetic things are. Me.having.to.impress.my.own.Mom and she definitely doesn't make things easier either. Anyhoos, Mom surprised me just now with 2 choices. Either, any one Guess handbag or a Casio watch.  I picked the latter, a Casio Baby G watch *inset* I is not into hoochie, heavily decorated handbags. Only for special occasions, can lah. A watch is practical enough to trump a handbag, anytime! I am definitely overwhelmed with mixed emotions. I didn't expect Mom to react this way but again, Alhamdulillah Syukur :) Tomorrow's plan Either go pig out with Ayie @ Seoul Garden or.. Watch movie REC2 with Ayie or.. Attend Ahmad's chalet and overnight? Doesn't matter. What does is, me getting to spend time with my love ;] TGIF, people. XOXO. Labels: etc, lovely, surprise me |
