Hi all, my people. Coupla days has passed since i last updated. So, i must must recap. Thurs (07.08.08): Went to CE Bishan w Amal, Nisa, Qiela, Naq & Myself to buy us some uniforms. CE's uniform ain't so nice compared to theirs. So, there were 5 of us stepping foot into a foreign territory literally. Lol. Literally! The students there were looking at us, one kind. Macam fascinated, but not really. For sure, they'll be like, "What sia these 5 girls doing here? Lost uh?" Translated in malay, "Pe sia ni 5 pompuan buat kat sini? Sesat keper?" I dare bet sia. I know, it was totally obvious that we're not one of em. Our U's are so much different bla bla bla ......... Done with our U's purchases, Amal asked me along to help her shop for somethin' to wear on N'day @ Town. So, i readily obliged. I didn't have anything planned for afterwards anyways. From F21 to Warehouse to Dorothy Perkins to Pull and Bear. Alas, we couldn't find anything N'day-worthy. There were, but to no avail lah, no size etc. Moving on, we went to the 5th, 6th(?) shop. Hula&Co. Finally, finally! Both of us spotted something worthy of our attention. Mine was this greyish/blue tunic dress w pink & black nature abstract-ish design. Amal's was this spaghetti-strapped peach babydoll dress with this black vintage design on the skirt w a string of pearls as it's spaghetti strap. And after much delibration and reasonings, my choice was picked. Soon after, we went to Heeren to get us these double headbands/scarf. Inspired by the mags & Gracia, my classmate:) Suggested Amal to choose this silver-grey headband, while I on the other hand, chose a combo of cream/navy blue headband. Pretty sangat! Amal comtemplated to buy a pair of gladies & a brown handbag. But, due to the budget and our energy level, we decided to forgo the plans. Trained back. Home sweet home: 8.15 pm. Friday (08.08.08) : N'day celebrations. Such a fuckin' bore. So much for us being lucky amongt the other classes. Wasted for an auspicious day, date! Sat (09.08.08) : N'day was o-kay. Imagine getting all excited to see the fireworks, and to your dismay, that you're at the exact opposite from the the scene. Yes, please spare some time to imagine that. Frustrating, i know! Yes, admittedly very stupid on my part. Whatev-s let bygone be bygone. So, it was Kin, Wanee, Debe, Aini, Ajid & Me. Nadem & Khai was supposed to join us but they paitiao-ed! HMPF. As expected, the central town area were crowded to the maxima. The traffic congestions were really bad, jam-packed sia! But i guess, these things make N'day much more memorable rite? Yeah... It's not so bad, after all. ![]() Lotsa pixs snapped, girls gossiping session, chit-chats. Awesome. Chilled at Starbucks @ Raffle City SC. Tried out th Promo drink (Pomegranate Peach Frappe) instead of my regular caffeine dose Choc Cream Chip. Slightly sour, bitter-ish than expected but yummy nonetheless. All hail Starbucks. Shortly after, A Power 98 Fm DJ wanted to interview us on his talkshow if we went for this year's NDP, but we didn't. Missed out such a golden chance. Grr. Trained back, wanee sleptover over at our crib. I slept in ASAP while they decided to direct their own horror clip. LOL. Sunday (10.08.08): A mundane day. Brunch with Ajid, Fetch parents from Harbourfront Centre, Dinner at HF Foodcourt, trained back. Now, happily blogging. On second thoughts, scratch the happy part. ![]() |
